Many people during Ramadan prefer to break their fast with two meals, first one is mostly fresh fruits and drinks. Contrary to popular belief, there is no point to swallow up food before sleeping since all that is eaten at this time will be stored and not assimilated. Assimilation is optimal before exercise and not before the rest. Also, if the food is very heavy, the feeling of hunger will not be felt in the morning and could cause you to skip breakfast, which is indispensable if you want to stay fit throughout the fasting day that will to follow.
