1. Win Taqwa - Important Lesson of Ramadan Month

Allah (swt) said: "The month of Ramadan was in which the Qur'an was revealed, a guide for mankind and clear evidence for guiding the criterion between right and wrong. So any of you who see the The month of Ramadan, he must fast that month. " (Al-Baqara 2: 185)

The Messenger of Allah said:

" Islam is based on five pillars: to testify that no one has the right to be worshiped except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, perform the Salat, give the Zakat, perform Hayy, and fast in Ramadan."

He (sas) said:

"For you have come Ramadan, a blessed month in which Allah has made it obligatory to fast." During it the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained. There is one night (Lailatul-Qadr ) What is better than a thousand months. He who deprives himself has really deprived himself of his pleasant things. "

Of the many important lessons that can be learned from fasting, we highlight:

1. Win Taqwa

Fasting has been legislated so that we can win taqwa, as Allah (swt) said: "O thou that believe! Fasting is a duty for you, as it was duty for those before you in such a way that you can achieve the Taqwaa. " (Al-Baqarah 2: 183)

Talq ibn Habib (d. 100H) (raa) said:

"When the fitnah (trial and tribulation) appears then excuse it with t aqwa." When asked for was the taqwa, he replied: " Taqwa is to act in obedience to Allah, follow the light (ie the magnet,) of Allah, trust in the mercy of Allah. Taqwa is leaving acts Of disobedience to Allah, out of respect for Allah.

This is one of the best definitions of taqwa. For each action there must be a starting point and a goal. And an action will not be considered as an act of obedience, or closeness to Allah, unless it emanates from the pure Imam (abandon himself to Allah). Therefore it is the pure Imam, and not habits, desires, nor the pursuit of praise or fame, which should initiate action. And the goal of action should be to win the reward of Allah and seek His pleasure. "Fasting is a means to achieve taqwa, as it helps to prevent many faults that one is prone. Because of this, the Prophet ( Sas) Said."
