Checklist To Make The Most Out Of Holy Month of Ramadan

A checklist that helps us inshaAllah to get the best return from the holy month:

1. Avoid anything that weakens your fixed so as lying, backbiting, cheating, getting angry.

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever does not give up [ends with] saying false statements (ie lying) and evil actions, and saying bad words to others - Allah is not in need of his leaving food and drink, that fast. " [Bukhari |]

2. Avoid looking at what Allah has forbidden.

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The look is one of Satan's poisonous arrows, Allah curse him. Anyone who stops to look at the bad things in the fear of Allah, Allah (swt) to give him the sweetness of faith in heart ". [Al Hakim]

3. Do not sit and listen to a person Knife others then you get the same sins as the knife.

Have the intention to fast every day with Iman (faith) and pure intention that only seek reward from Allah. The Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) said:

"Whoever fasts during Ramadan with Iman and seeking reward from Allah, his previous sins will be forgiven." [Al-Bukhari]

4. Read the whole Qur'an at least once, as the Prophet did (may Allah peace and blessings be upon him).

5. Makes dua during the fast because the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said three people prayer / invocation is not rejected, and one of them is the fasting person's prayer / invocation. Ask Allah for the good of this life into the next for yourself, your family and all Muslims.

Makes doua before you break your fast. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The fasting person has a prayer / invocation [doua] answered when he breaks his fast."

6. Give Sadaqah and was good to the people. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was the most generous amongst the people, and he was most generous during Ramadan.

7. Have Suhoor that the Prophet (may Allaah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have Suhoor for giving the blessing."

8. Ask Allah's forgiveness because Ramadan is the month that Allah frees people from the fire.

9. Ask Taraweeh with khushoo '[humility, concentration]. If you pray in the mosque, pray the entire prayer with the Imaam. If you're at home, extend as prayer as much as you can. The Prophet (may Allaah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever prays during Ramadhan with Imaan and seeking reward from Allah, his previous sins will be forgiven."

10. Feed the poor and invite home to Iftaar. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives Iftaar to someone fasting, he will receive the same reward without the reward is reduced from the fasting person."

11. Fight harder during the last ten nights especially the odd nights, then in one of those nights falls Laylatul Qadr (All Forces Day) in. And the douaa the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) used to say during those nights was: "Allahumma innaka 'afuwun tohibbol' AFWA fa'fu 'anni." (O Allah, you are [the pardoning] and love forgiveness, so forgive me.)

12. Ask Allah to accept all your good deeds during this month.
